All reservations are for one of our three menus pre fixe, chef's tasting or fried chicken dinner. 

Pasta happy hour is walk in only no are reservations accepted. When making a reservation you are agreeing to adhering to the cancelation policy, and the terms which are outlined in them.

Bird Dog is an intimate restaurant with limited seating. When you book a reservation with us, we hold that space just for you. Last-minute cancellations, no-shows, or leaving before your reservation begins make it harder for us to care for our team—by paying a livable wage, providing health insurance, and sustaining the benefits that matter most. Our cancellation policy exists to protect both our business and our staff.

We accept reservations up to 14 days in advance through RESY, with each new day's availability released at 9:00 AM Eastern.

• Cancellations: Parties may cancel without penalty up to six hours prior to the reservation time.
• Within Six Hours: Any cancellations or no-shows inside the six-hour window will incur a non-refundable $20 per-person cancellation fee.
• Party Size: Reservations must be booked true to size. If you arrive with fewer guests or choose not to stay, a non-refundable $20 per-person change fee will apply to any reductions in party size made within six hours of the reservation time.

We offer three menu paths: our Family Style Chef's Tasting, a Three Course Prix Fixe, and our beloved Fried Chicken Dinner. Guests are welcome to add extra dishes along the way. While we consider special requests, modifications aren't always possible, as they can affect the focus of the kitchen and the integrity of the dishes. Please let us know of any allergies—ingredients on the menu are abbreviated.

Reservations are strongly encouraged and taken exclusively through RESY; we do not accept cancellations by phone. For large parties of five or more, please reach out to us at letsparty@birddognyc.com. Parties of this size enjoy our Family Style Chef's Tasting, with full participation required.

Because of our intimate size, we enforce a $20 per-person fee for cancellations or no-shows within six hours of the reservation, and for incomplete parties. We seat completed parties only, and ask that you arrive on time—there's a ten-minute grace period before your table may be released. Dining with us typically lasts about 90 minutes.

We are a cashless restaurant and accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. Families are welcome, though our dining room is not designed for young children. We ask that little ones remain at the table and that infants or vocal youngsters be calmed outside the room. Children six and older are treated as guests and must order from the menu; children five and under may order one pasta or entrée while dining with us.

To keep the experience comfortable for all, please step outside for phone calls, silence your devices, and limit tablet use. Laptops are not permitted. Photography is welcome, but flash or lighted equipment requires written consent from ownership.

We offer three menu options: a Two or Three-Course Prix Fixe, our Fried Chicken Dinner, and a Family-Style Chef's Tasting.

À la carte dining is available only during Pasta Happy Hour—walk-in only, no reservations—or after 9:30pm each evening.

For parties of seven or more, we require the Chef's Tasting menu for the entire table.

Here at Bird Dog any group seven (7) or more is considered a large party, and we do require our family style chef's tasting menu. We can accommodate most allergies, aversions and dietary needs.

We have a full wine and beer menu for your adult beverage needs. As well as an array of soft drinks as well for those who do not partake.

We allow two 750ml bottles per reservation at $65.00 per bottle that is not already featured on our wine list. Large format bottles are $150.00

For complete restaurant buy outs and special events we work with a licensed caterer to bring in a full bar at no additional cost to you.

As long as you're wearing clothes you are welcome to join us.

Yes, we offer two to three types of gluten free pasta's depending on the night, however, we are not able to offer a gluten-free version of any stuffed pastas. 

Many of our items can be modified to meet most dietary needs and preferences.

We have a cake cutting fee of $10 per person and for parties of five or more it is a flat fee of $35. In-house cakes made by our Pastry Chef are available with 3 days notice.

If you would like to receive messages from Bird Dog again, just sign up as you did the first time and Bird Dog will start sending messages to you again.
